Do everything with love. (1Cor16:14)

We seek to promote a better world by

Raising the quality of life of children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability through education, sustainability, culture, leisure, sports and FAITH.

OUR VISION

The recognition of Project The Way as a project that operates in a network and promotes the integral development of children, adolescents and their families.

GOAL

Positively impact the lives of children, adolescents and families in situations of social vulnerability through sport, education and sustainability.

PERFORMANCE

We work in partnership with local institutions through training of trainers and thematic workshops. We develop activities in the Jd. Panorama and Mandelinha, CTA-18 Canindé, Vila Reencontro Pari, Vila Reencontro Cruzeiro do Sul, Ludovico, Aliança de Misericórdia, Favor de Deus, FAZ, EM José Dias and Núcleo Etudantil Bolha de Sabão.

How we operate:

We form partnerships with local institutions and community associations to promote our actions.

  • SPORTS/RECREATION

One of the best tools for transforming a life is participating in sporting activities where we learn to respect our limits, the limits of others and the rules that must be followed. Both in recreation and in sports, we focus a lot on providing an alternative for our students to vent their feelings where we can also identify characteristics such as leadership and help us find the leaders of our future.

  • EDUCATION

We believe that promoting educational and cultural experiences expands the learning possibilities of children and adolescents participating in our project. We offer cultural tours to museums, exhibitions, cinemas, among others. School reinforcement activities and languages such as Portuguese and English are also offered.

  • SUSTAINABILITY

We work to train trainers to spread care for the land, care for people, food production and sharing of surpluses (income generation) through urban organic agriculture, agroecology and permaculture. Our audience is socially vulnerable people, homeless people, refugees, children and local leaders. We seek to assist in local empowerment, building autonomy and food sovereignty through the mediation of garden clubs in which we share, exchange and cultivate both food and friendships.

Project The Way

Project The Way is currently partnering with 12 local institutions to help them develop activities regarding sports and recreation, organic gardening, school support and cultural field trips. We direct attend over 600 children and have a network with 120 volunteers that help us promote a monthly work day where different churches are also welcome to engage and do some social action together as well as gospel sharing.
